When I was old enough to drive I was determined to get a Jeep Cj. Before I sat in a Cj-5, the model was not of importance. I decided sitting straight up and down with my long legs squished wasn't going to be very comfortable. After searching millions of four wheel drive truck classified advertisements, I found an 84 Jeep Cj-7 that was my favorite color, had a nice rim and tire combo, and looked mud worthy. I could not pass the offer up.
Since I bought it I have beaten it to death. Mudding isn't exactly vehicle friendly, especially if your 4x4 isn't setup for it. In my Jeeps four wheeling days, I have broken spider gears, spunt a rear hub, and popped holes in 3 radiators. One day it will be built like the vehicles you see in the Tough Truck Challenge. Until then I will continue breaking parts and upgrading them as I go.
